Realme X2 Pro India launch confirmed for November 20Â
A day after the Oppo spin-off brand launched the phone in China, it has confirmed that it will launch the Realme X2 Pro in India on November 20.

Realme is dropping the Realme X2 Pro early – in India. A day after the Oppo spin-off brand launched the phone in China, it has confirmed that it will launch the Realme X2 Pro in India on November 20. The phone was supposed to arrive in India in December. Realme is now sending out save-your-date invites to the media for a keynote event scheduled to be hosted in the National Capital on November 20 where it will launch the Realme X2 Pro for the Indian market.
The Realme X2 Pro is Realme’s first high-end flagship phone designed from ground up to take on the likes of the OnePlus 7T and the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro. The phone has specifications to back those claims – and in typical Realme fashion, the phone has also been very aggressively priced which makes it all the more attractive.

A quick recap - the Realme X2 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch 1080p+ display with a waterdrop-style notch. The phone supports HDR10+ and boasts of a 90Hz refresh rate. There’s Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. Under the hood, the Realme X2 Pro rocks a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage (non-expandable). The phone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with 50W SuperVOOC fast charging support which is claimed to top up 80 per cent of the its battery in just 30 minutes.
In terms of optics, the Realme X2 Pro comes with four rear cameras – a 64MP main camera, a 13MP telephoto camera for 2x optical zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 115-degree field-of-view, and a 2MP portrait camera. On the front, the Realme X2 Pro has a 16MP camera.
Realme has launched the Realme X2 Pro in China at a starting price of CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs 27,200) for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage going all the way to CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 33,250) for the top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Something very similar will be expected from the Realme X2 Pro India variant as well. The phone is made of glass and metal and comes in Ocean Blue and Midnight Silver colours as well as two Master Editions in red and grey.
